The main event for autumn 2011 is that the Pool is entered in the RBS CommunityForce Awards, which means that we could be awarded £6,000 to buy new lockers for next season! Voting is now closed and we should hear shortly if we’ve been successful. However, it’s still possible to volunteer from the website.

If we’re successful, we could buy 35 large (900mm) lockers or 22 large and 15 medium (600mm) easy-clean lockers with secure locks operated by £1 coins. They would be both family-friendly and also ideal for those of us who would like a swim on the way home from work, and have “posh clothes” to hang. Read more here
